It's a gift for him.
It's proof for you.

Most bridal boudoir pages lead with the groom. And yes, the look on his face is going to be everything. But that's not actually why you're reading this right now.

Wedding planning has had you in other people's needs for months. The guest list. The seating chart. The vendor calls. The dress fittings scheduled around everyone else. Somewhere in all of that, you stopped asking what you wanted.

Your body might be changing. You've been working harder on yourself than you have in years, and the only way you've been measuring it is by a number on a tag or a scale. You haven't actually seen it.

A bridal session fixes that. The photographs are for him. The experience, and what you discover about yourself in that studio, that part is entirely yours.

"I want to see my body for
all that it can do."

One of our brides said that when she called to book. She wasn't chasing a perfect photo. She was chasing proof. Proof she was stronger. Proof she could see herself differently. Proof she deserved to take up space before the biggest day of her life.

Getting stronger. Entering a new decade. Becoming a wife. Recovering confidence after a hard season. These are the real reasons women do this.

The wedding gives you the excuse. This session gives you the photographs.

This version of you deserves to be documented.

"These are showing me sides I've just never seen. I've always wanted to see myself like that. But I've never been like, oh, I'm just naturally someone who has sex appeal or who's very feminine. And these are proving me wrong."

What Happens During Your Session

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need modeling experience. You just need to show up. Here's how the whole day works.

01

Your Prep Call

Before session day, we get on a private Zoom call and build the experience together. Wardrobe, what to get, where to shop, what poses feel like you, and what you want to feel when you're looking at these images. Nothing is a surprise when you arrive because we've already mapped it out.

There's no shared client closet here. Everything you wear belongs to you. You try it on ahead of time, make sure it fits the way it should, and keep it afterward as a reminder of how you felt that day.

02

Professional Hair & Makeup

Session day starts in the studio with a professional hair and makeup artist who works with you on the look. Not a face you don't recognize. Elevated, polished, and completely you.

This is the part of the day where you get to slow down and be taken care of for once. Let that happen.

03

Your Session

The studio is private, appointment-only, and intentionally designed to not feel like a photography studio. The lighting is dark and moody, built around shadows that flatter every body rather than flatten it.

Every position is guided physically. Hand placement, angle, expression, all of it. Your job is to breathe, trust the process, and be open to being a little surprised by yourself. The "holy sh*t, that's me" moment usually happens within the first ten minutes.

Same-Day Reveal

A few hours after your session, we meet on a private Zoom call to look at your images together for the first time. You choose your favorites, we design your artwork on the spot, and everything goes to production the same day.

You choose your collection before your session day so there are no pricing surprises at your reveal. The reveal is just about the images and what you want to do with them.

The studio is in Baltimore, Maryland. Brides regularly travel from Washington DC, Reston, Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Montgomery County, and throughout Northern Virginia. Sessions are available Saturday, Sunday, and Monday specifically to minimize traffic for clients coming from across the DMV.

One gift now.
One gift on your wedding day.

One of our brides had a problem: her fiancé was turning 30 in August. Their wedding was in October. She wanted to give him something for his birthday, but she also wanted something waiting for him on the wedding morning. She didn't think it was possible to do both.

It was. She gifted a retro viewfinder at dinner for his birthday, something he could hold up and see privately while sitting at a restaurant surrounded by people. Then her full album was ready before the wedding. She had it delivered to his getting-ready room that morning.

That story plays out in our studio constantly. You can give him a moment now and an heirloom later. The timeline just requires a conversation so we can sequence it right.

And if you want to hold the album until your honeymoon, your first anniversary, or just keep it entirely for yourself, that's a choice too.

The Retro Viewfinder

A completely private way to share your portraits. He holds it up, clicks through, and sees what nobody else in the room can see. Works beautifully as a birthday gift, rehearsal dinner surprise, or wedding morning present.

Before You Reach Out

For a custom album in hand before your wedding, book at least 8 to 10 weeks out. Albums take 6 to 8 weeks to manufacture. The earlier, the more options you have. If you're closer to your date than that, keep reading.
Not necessarily. A retro viewfinder can be produced in under two weeks and makes a beautiful near-term gift he can hold privately in a public place. Reach out and tell us your date. We'll tell you exactly what's still available.
Totally manageable. Payment plans can be structured to avoid shared financial statements. Printed products can be held at the studio until closer to your wedding date, the morning of, or whatever moment you've planned. We've done this before. We'll figure it out with you.
Nope. Your wardrobe can be anything that feels like you. Classic white lace is beautiful and we love it. So are jewel tones, his button-down, your actual veil, implied sets, structured bodysuits. The wardrobe is yours to make. We plan it together on your prep call.
Yes. Without exception and without caveats. The posing approach and lighting are specifically designed to celebrate your actual shape. Not to minimize it, not to alter it digitally afterward. You show up as you are and we work with exactly that.
They will look like you. Retouching is professional and intentional, including skin smoothing and minor corrections, but we do not digitally alter body shape or size. Your curves are yours. Many clients see their unretouched images at the reveal and are already overwhelmed before any editing has been applied.
Most clients haven't. You don't need modeling experience. Every position is guided physically during the session. The environment is warm, conversational, and not at all stiff. If you can breathe and trust the process, you're going to do more than fine.
The $550 session fee includes your private prep call, professional hair and makeup, guided posing throughout the session, and professional retouching on your selected images. Collections and products are purchased separately at your reveal and start at $1,300.
Yes. Complete image privacy is the default. Your photographs are never shared on social media, the website, or in any marketing without your explicit written consent. Many clients keep their images entirely for themselves. That choice is always respected.
A bridal session incorporates wedding-specific elements: veil work, bridal accessories, and product planning tied to your timeline. The experience is the same warm, guided approach, but we also plan around gift timing, surprise delivery options, and products designed specifically for wedding day reveals.
Yes. Bringing your actual veil, heirloom jewelry, or meaningful bridal pieces adds a personal layer to your session that no prop can replicate. We work it into the planning on your prep call.
Custom handcrafted albums take 6 to 8 weeks from your order date. Retro viewfinders can be ready in under two weeks. Digital collections are delivered within the editing window discussed at your reveal.
Yes. The studio is in Baltimore and serves the full DMV region including Washington DC, Northern Virginia (Reston, Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun County), and Maryland (Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Annapolis, Columbia, Frederick). Sessions are scheduled Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to minimize traffic for clients crossing state lines.
The session itself is a solo experience. Having a guest in the room changes the energy significantly, and most clients find they relax and open up much more when it's just the two of us. If you're nervous, that's completely normal and it gets handled during the session, not before it. That said, a friend is welcome to drop you off, keep you company before hair and makeup, and be there for the reveal if you want someone with you for that moment.
