During the pandemic, I was in a relationship that ended with a man listing everything he thought was wrong with me. When it was over, his voice stayed in my head like a broken record I couldn't turn off. I got into therapy. I started doing the work.
One day I came across a boudoir photographer's work and thought: what if I tried that for myself? That session changed something in me. Not fixed me. Changed me. So I picked up my camera, called a friend, and said "Can I try something?" I've been shooting ever since and today I run a private boudoir studio in Baltimore, serving women across Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
I photographed across seven continents before planting my flag in boudoir, because no matter where I traveled, one thing translated in every language: when a woman finally feels seen, everything changes.
A breakup. A broken record in my head. And a decision to change the channel
"I want to bottle this experience and let other people feel what I felt."
